My Work

Make Way For Chucklings
Branding & Design for a cause

Website Link: makewayforchucklings.com

After my brother-in-law, Chuck Johnson was diagnosed with ALS in 2024, I created this website to help raise awareness and gather support for their young family. The site was made using WP Engine as the host site and Elementor as the editing tools.

Along with the website, I created the logo, T-shirt design, flyers, and other various branding materials. I continue to create new assets and assist with filming content as well as doing whatever I can to help the family.

Please take a look at my work as well as take a moment to read their story and consider helping in any way you can.

The Logo & Branding

I also created the logo, T-shirts, and other branding materials. The logo has a horizontal version as well as a circular version to be used for different purposes.

The name "Make Way For Chucklings" is a play off of the popular Boston children's book "Make Way For Ducklings." This was chosen for it's memorability and representation of Chuck as a loving father of 3 kids.

The logo is made up of the letters "ALS" and "C" to create a duckling and is paired with a youthful typeface to give it playfulness and evoke a family friendly aesthetic. The color red is used because it is the official color of ALS and the blue represents trust and support.

Social Media

Make Way For Chucklings is on Instagram and TikTok @makewayforchucklings. Several family members help out with putting together content and posting. Here are some examples of ones that I have created.
